First I would like to thank you for visiting my online gallery. If you have any comments, questions, or suggestions please send me a note.

I moved to Colorado 12 years ago and instantly fell in love with the Rocky Mountains and the West. Over the last six years I have also fell in love with photography. I enjoy photographing the many beautiful vistas that the Rocky Mountains and the western United States provide. I enjoy the calmness that comes over you as you wait for the sun to rise and it is just you and your thoughts. I enjoy the peaceful feeling you get as sun light turns from yellow to orange to deep red. I enjoy the adrenaline rush you get when you are photographing a brown bear 40 feet away. But what I enjoy the most is the ability to share these experiences with you through photography.

I started Edge of Day Photography through the encouragement of family and friends. They enjoyed my work and convinced me that others would as well. Based on the response I have received since my launch 2 years ago I am happy that I listened.

I am married to Linda and we have a wonderful son named Zachery. On many trips I haul them out of bed well before the sun rises so I can get some shooting in before we start our day of hiking and exploring. Above is one of those days. We made it to the Lower Falls on the Yellowstone River well before dawn. Prior to packing up and heading back to the car I took this family picture. Too bad you cannot hear Zach running and playing in the area while I shot. It was a great time.

Again, thank you for visiting and I hope you see prints you like.
