Mighty Taxi: American bison in Yellowstone National Park

An American bison (Bison bison) grazing in the Geyser Basin in Yellowstone National Park. This big bull was grazing on the other side of a river in the Geyser basin. I watched for 30 minutes as small black birds perched on his back and hitched a ride.
